Tonight I am very humbled to be given one of the highest honours, being conducted into the MEFNC Life Members.

For those of you who know me well, know that I have strived for this for some time.

Having been involved with the club for most of my life, most know it’s a love hate relationship. There are so many friendships that have been made along the way.

I actually didn’t think I would get so emotional, but I did, because it means something to me. I am the third generation in my family to receive this honour.

Thank you to Christopher Wendy Thiele (as I believe you may have put the nomination forward). Thank you to Daniel Thiele for presenting the award to me… and for offering to ask me questions rather than me making a speech, because I don’t think I could have.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, past, present and future (🤞🏼), I don’t intend on going anywhere else. And maybe one day there can be a fourth generation.

See you all next year, and for god’s sake, just register when I bloody ask you to!!! 🙂
